Review:
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is the third movie in the John Wick franchise and it's another brilliant addition.

Keanu Reeves is an excellent action star. He was amazing 20 plus years ago in The Matrix and he's still just as good well into his sixties. There are many corny lines that would sound awful if said by anyone else but Reeves can pull them off and make them work. At points the danger he's in is relentless and Keanu Reeves sells that sense of urgency. Halle Berry also excels in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. She had clearly gone through months of training to prepare for the movie and that really shows here. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see her involved a little bit more. Ian McShane and Lance Reddick are brilliant again in supporting roles - at points even getting involved in the action which was fun to see.

Ever since the first outing, the John Wick franchise has had a villain problem. No one has lived up to Michael Nyqvist's performance and that unfortunately, remains the case in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. Mark Dacascos was irritating as Zero. He never felt like he belonged in this universe - he's rigid and I never once felt that he could match John. I also didn't really like Asia Kate Dillon's performance. They were so unemotional and dull.

I don't even need to say it but the action is once again out of this world in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. Chad Stahelski has somehow been able up the cool factor repeatedly. Animals get involved fully utilising both dogs and horses in unique ways. The famous pencil is replaced with a book. And the knife fights are so entertaining to watch.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is still able to expand upon the lore of the universe.  More characters are introduced and the world of assassins is further developed. The story of the pencil has been replaced by John killing hundreds just because of his puppy and that is attention to detail at it's finest.

This movie has so many moments were it's unintentionally funny and I loved that. For example, John Wick reloading his gun before two assassins and then shooting them shouldn't make me burst out laughing, but it did.

The desert scene felt unneeded in my opinion, but I though that John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum was an improvement on John Wick: Chapter 2 and I can't wait to see more.
