Review: X-Men: Dark Phoenix is the latest and last instalment in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men franchise. It isn’t quite the finale that some fans were hoping for, but it is not as bad as some of the reviews out there and is better than a few of the previous X-Men movies. I have already ranked the 20th Century Fox X-Men movies. The aspect of X-Men: Dark Phoenix that I disliked most was the alien plot line. The aliens are generic and their motives are not explained in enough detail. Even a talented actor like Jessica Chastain couldn’t make the aliens interesting in any way.  On the flip-side, the best thing about X-Men: Dark Phoenix is the acting. UK Release Date: 31 January 2003 Certification: 12A Director: Steven Spielberg  Cast: Amy Adams, Nathalie Baye, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Martin Sheen, Christopher Walken Rating: 77% " Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream... " Review: I was unaware of the true events that inspired Ca tch Me If You Can , I thought it was a just another crime movie. I was pleasantly surprised w atching the story of Frank Abagnale Jr unfold. It was really interesting and I enjoyed the Dr. Connors plotline the most, particularly the "Do you concur?" scene.  As you may already be aware T om Hanks is my favourite actor. I found his portrayal of Carl Hanratty lacklustre and I didn't enjoy his performance on this occasion. On the other hand Leonardo Caprio in the lead role of Frank Abagnale Jr i s phenomenal and outshone Tom Hanks. In addition, Christopher Walken and Amy Adams are great in supporting roles. Christopher Walken received an Oscar nomination for Best S

Following the recent release of the heavily criticised X-Men: Dark Phoenix , I thought I would share my ranking of an inconsistent franchise that I love nonetheless. This is my ranking of the X-Men movies, that first appeared with Bryan Singer's X-Men in 2000. 12. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 11. X-Men: Apocalypse 10. X-Men: The Last Stand 09. X-Men: Dark Phoenix 08. The Wolverine 07. X-Men 06. Deadpool 2 05. X-Men: Days of Future Past 04. X-Men: 2 03. X-Men: First Class 02. Deadpool 01. Logan "Hello, old friend." Logan is one of the best comic book movies of all time and is by far the best movie in the X-Men franchise. The swansong of Logan and Charles Xavier is amazing and the X-Men franchise should've ended with Logan . However, X-Men: Dark Phoenix is the last movie in the X-Men Fox franchise. And whilst it isn't the finale X-Men fans were hoping for, it isn't as bad as some people have reported.  But don't despa
