UK Release Date: 10 November 2016 Certification: 12A Director:  Denis Villeneuve Cast: Amy Adams, Tzi Ma, Mark O'Brien, Jeremy Renner, Michael Stuhlbarg, Forrest Whitaker Rating:   98 % 'Why are they here?' Review: Arrival is an intriguing and fascinating sci-fi movie from Denis Villeneuve based on a short story about the arrival of alien life - starring Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forrest Whittaker. Upon release the movie received worldwide praise which resulted in a best picture nomination at the Oscars only losing out to Moonlight .  Firstly, this is Amy Adams' movie. She is truly terrific as linguist, Louise Banks who essentially has to create and decipher a whole new language in order to communicate with the aliens - which are known as heptapods. As the movie progresses, Louise begins to interact more and more with the heptapods and that makes both her and the story even more interesting and Amy Adams is able to display every emotion that she's fee...

UK Release Date:   18 March 2021 Certification:  15 Director:  Zack Snyder Cast:  Amy Adams, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ray Fisher, Gal Gadot,  Ciarán Hinds,  Jeremy Irons, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa Rating:  90 % "If you can't bring down the charging bull, then don't wave the red cape at it." UK Release Date: 31 January 2003 Certification: 12A Director: Steven Spielberg  Cast: Amy Adams, Nathalie Baye, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Martin Sheen, Christopher Walken Rating: 77% " Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream... " Review: I was unaware of the true events that inspired Ca tch Me If You Can , I thought it was a just another crime movie. I was pleasantly surprised w atching the story of Frank Abagnale Jr unfold. It was really interesting and I enjoyed the Dr. Connors plotline the most, particularly the "Do you concur?" scene.  As you may already be aware T om Hanks is my favourite actor. I found his portrayal of Carl Hanratty lacklustre and I didn't enjoy his performance on this occasion. On the other hand Leonardo Caprio in the lead role of Frank Abagnale Jr i s phenomenal and outshone Tom Hanks. In addition, Christopher Walken and Amy Adams are great in supporting roles. Christopher Walken received an Oscar nomination for Best S...
