In what was yet another crazy and uncertain year, 2021 was still able to provide us with some excellent movies across all mediums. There's been a few that I've possibly missed over the course of the year but in my opinion these are the ten best movies of 2021: 10. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 09. Ghostbusters: Afterlife 08. The Power of the Dog 07. No Time to Die 06. The Suicide Squad 05. Tick, tick...BOOM! 04. Spider-Man: No Way Home 03. A Quiet Place Part II 02. Zack Snyder's Justice League 01. Dune The Best Movie of 2021 Dune was so good that I needed more of it's world and I got the book for Christmas. The movie stuck with me for weeks with it's excellent cast, stunning visuals and swelling score. Denis Villeneuve has quickly became one of the best directors currently working and I absolutely can't wait for the sequel in 2023.

Review:   First of all, I will try to keep my discussion as spoiler-free as I can but there are certain aspects that I can't talk about without spoiling a few scenes.  In 2017, due to family tragedy, Zack Snyder had to leave behind his Justice League project and Joss Whedon was hired to help finish the movie. However, in reality the studio didn't appreciate the way that Snyder wanted to go and Whedon came in and made a completely different movie that in all honesty was a car crash and utterly disrespectful to Zack Snyder.
