He grew up in Boston so of course the accent is effortless and he's simultaneously caring as well as threatening. You can tell he understands the location he's filming in, he pays attention to small details about how much of a dump Charleston really is. Whilst watching I found his direction admirable. Review:    Gavin O'Connor returns to sports dramas, after his success with Warrior in 2011, with Finding the Way Back . The movie explores Jack Cunningham (played phenomenally by Ben Affleck), an alcoholic struggling with depression, as he accepts a job as a basketball coach at his old school.  However, Finding the Way Back isn't really a basketball movie - it's Ben Affleck's movie. He's incredible and it could be his best performance to date. After his retirement as the Batman, passing the baton over to Robbert Pattinson, Affleck returns. Review:   First of all, I will try to keep my discussion as spoiler-free as I can but there are certain aspects that I can't talk about without spoiling a few scenes.  In 2017, due to family tragedy, Zack Snyder had to leave behind his Justice League project and Joss Whedon was hired to help finish the movie. However, in reality the studio didn't appreciate the way that Snyder wanted to go and Whedon came in and made a completely different movie that in all honesty was a car crash and utterly disrespectful to Zack Snyder.
