Receiving mixed reviews initially and bombing worldwide at the box office, grossing $27 million with a budget of $72 million, The Last Castle has largely been forgotten.  Everything in this film lacks originality. It has all been seen, in some shape or form, before. A fairly formulaic prison break reminiscent of Escape from Alcatraz or The Shawshank Redemption . Events on screen are filmed to a fairly decent standard and for the most part entertaining but it is completely lacking in both inventiveness and imagination. UK Release Date: 25 November 2011 Certification: 12A Director: Bennett Miller Cast: Stephen Bishop, Jonah Hill, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ken Medlock, Brad Pitt, Chris Pratt, Robin Wright Rating: 93% "It's hard not to get romantic about Baseball." Review: Moneyball has absolutely everything I look for in a sports movie.  And whilst Moneyball is one of my favourite sports movie of all time it's more than that.  The movie's got heart, an endearing underdog story and a fantastic central performance from Brad Pitt.  Speaking of Brad Pitt, regardless of his iconic and legendary filmography - that includes movies such as Se7en and Fight Club - this is the best performance of his career in my opinion. He's cocky and nonchalant as general manager Billy Beane but somehow captivating. I'm not quite sure how he, or the movie in general, didn't win a single academy award despite the six nominations.  The chemistry between Pitt and Jonah Hill is outstanding....

Jackson, Bruce Willis, Robin Wright Rating: 70% " I'm just an ordinary man."  Review: Unbreakable is another example of an entertaining comic book movie released before the recent Marvel and DC Hollywood blockbusters. M. Night Shyamalan does a great job delivering an interesting character study of two men who don't know their place in the world.    D avid Dunn (played by Bruce Willis), to me, is an appealing superhero struggling to come to terms with his own identity . The sole survivor of a massive train crash, David is confronted by a man named Elijah Price (played by the ever dependable Samuel L. Jackson) who thinks that both men are superheroes.
