My Favourite Movies Based on Books
Today is World Book Day so I thought I would rank my favourite movies that are actually based on books. I'm only basing my list on movies that I've seen as I know how critically acclaimed Lord of the Rings, Schindler's List and Shawshank Redemption are but I haven't seen them. 10. Love, Simon 09. Forrest Gump "Life is like a box of chocolates." Forrest Gump is my favourite movie of all time so too learn it was based on a book of the same name written by Winston Groom was perfect. Tom Hanks' performance is incredible, definitely worthy of the Oscar he received and the whole movie is just so emotionally investing - never failing to make me cry.
