A revenge story, a rekindled relationship between father and son, an exploration of grief - there's a bit of everything in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou .  The way the film is shot is gorgeous. Wes Anderson's symmetrical style is of course there but it's a lot more subdued, present in the background rather than the main feature itself. It's documentary-like filmmaking involves the audience with the band of the Belafonte, leading to stronger emotional connection. Review:   Thor: Ragnarok is by far the best entry in the Thor trilogy. Taika Waititi is able to bring a different, more vibrant feel too in all honesty a boring character. I'm very excited to see what direction he goes in next year with the release of Thor: Love and Thunder .  The cast is exceptional in this movie. Chris Hemsworth finally gets to show off his comedic chops as Thor which has since made him one of my favourite characters in the MCU - the opening scene just sets up the feel for the rest of the movie. It might not be the best one, but it definitely isn't the worst. Like Paul Feig's Ghostbusters (2016) Ocean's Eight is a gender switch movie with Sandra Bullock as the main character (Debbie Ocean).  By and large the performances in Ocean's Eight are fine. But in my opinion, Awkwafina, James Corden and Rihanna deliver standout performances. Awkwafina plays Constance, a pocket thief (similar to Matt Damon's character in Ocean's Eleven ) who is tasked with stealing the necklace from Anne Hathaway's character (Daphne Kluger).
